Paul Shannon: Company Chairman
Paul Shannon is a trained actor having worked on films such as “Young Winston” and “Oh What a lovely war” both directed by Richard Attenborough. His TV credits include “Tair Chwaer”, "Licorice Allsorts", “Mind to Kill” and Welsh BAFTA Award winning drama “Nuts and Bolts”. Paul is a founder member of Glantawe Theatre Company and has worked with acclaimed writer Ewart Alexander in community theatre. He has directed professional and non professional theatre.
Edwina Davies: Company Secretary
Edwina has various skills in both business and the arts. She has worked as a Business Studies teacher for over 25 years in schools across Wales. Edwina has extensive experience in theatre, treading the boards regularly with Theatre Group Glantawe Players. She also works as an extra for film and television in regional and national television programmes.
Hazel Williams: Company Director
Hazel’s career in the media has spanned over 30 years and in that time she has been a television, radio and film actress on dramas ranging from Pobol y Cwm to Torchwood. However since 1986 her work has primarily been in the field of writing, after winning the BBC Cymru Playwright Award for a film called Austin, starring Ioan Gruffudd. She went on to work in the Schools Department of the BBC and in 1995 created the successful daily radio soap called Ponty for BBC Radio Cymru. From there she went on to work as a storyliner for Crossroads and Emmerdale. In 2004 she returned to the field of education and is now the Joint Learning Co-ordinator for South Wales Museums and Heritage Officer for the Dyfed Archaeological Trust.
Jay Curtis: Company Director
Brings to the company a range and depth of experience in the media industry, which includes radio, television and film. Jay will be familiar to many as the fun and lively Breakfast Presenter on 102.1 Bay Radio. However he is also a regular broadcaster on other large commercial radio stations across Wales including Radio Ceredigion, Radio Carmarthenshire and Bridge FM. He has also appeared in many television programmes for ITV, S4C & BBC Wales, and is a regular face in the Theatre, Arts and Culture movement. Having appeared in a number of stage productions in Theatres across Wales. Jay is also a regular columnist for Swansea Life Magazine owned by North Cliff Media (Daily Mail).
Daniel Jenkins: Company Director
Daniel is a Theology student who has actively worked in the community for a number of years, working with Communities First and other voluntary organisations in the area. He has been a Town Councillor since May 2008 and continues to work closely with many organisations in the community.
